Participants will have the opportunity to tour two INCOTEC facilities and visit vegetable seed breeder Enza Zaden. Ronald Welten, Enza Zaden breeding station manager, will spotlight a variety of projects including the breeding behind new specialized vegetable varieties. In the afternoon, Kent Bradford, Seed Biotechnology Center director at UC-Davis, will give an overview of the center and provide insight on his experience working with a joint public-private biotech development project.
